Travel Ultrasound Tech – $2,210/Week | Nights | Charlotte, NC
Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced General Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Job Details:
  • Specialty: Ultrasound Tech – General.

  • Start Date: November 25, 2026.
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks.
  • Schedule: Nights, 5x8s.
  • Shift: 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, Monday–Friday.
  • Hours: 40 hours/week.
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,210/week.
  • Employment Type: Travel Contract.
  • No call.
  • No weekend requirement.
  • No floating.
  • First-time travelers accepted.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience.
  • BLS required.
  • ARDMS Abdomen (RDMS-AB) required.
  • ARDMS OB/GYN preferred.
  • RVT preferred.
  • Must have experience with Samsung RS85 ultrasound equipment.
  • Experience with all age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
  • Strong General, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound experience.
  • Experience with inpatient, outpatient, Emergency Department, NICU, and portable exams.
  • Epic experience preferred.
  • Required Ultrasound Skills.
  • Abdominal and general ultrasound.
  • OB/GYN imaging, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester.
  • Renal and pelvic imaging.
  • Small-parts imaging.
  • Breast ultrasound.
  • Thyroid and superficial mass imaging.
  • Carotid studies.
  • Upper and lower extremity venous studies.
  • Upper and lower extremity arterial studies.
  • Peripheral vascular studies.
  • ABI/PVR studies.
  • Paracentesis and thoracentesis.
  • M-Mode imaging.
  • Portable ultrasound.
  • Preferred experience includes Doppler studies, renal artery duplex, ultrasound-guided biopsy/FNA, PACS, Epic, and McKesson.

Unit Information:
  • This is an acute-care hospital ultrasound department serving inpatient and Emergency Department patients. The department performs General, OB/GYN, and vascular examinations.
  • Approximately 8–12 patients per day.
  • 6 ultrasound rooms.
  • Occasional OR cases may require assistance.
  • Samsung RS85 equipment.
  • Royal blue scrubs.
  • No floating.
  • No call.
  • No weekend requirement.
