Travel Labor and Delivery RN – $3,277/Week | Days | Wilmington, NC

Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 26-week travel assignment in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Requirements:

Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience required.
Traveler Experience: NOT REQUIRED.
Additional Skills: Isolation precautions/PPE, vaccine administration, high-risk L&D, magnesium drip/high-risk care.
Certs: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate.
Preferred – Certifications: ACLS.
Circulate and recover C-sections – REQUIRED.
May be required to care for patients with COVID.
Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster.
Consolidation to the centralized office mid-contract may occur.

Assignment Details:

Fetal Monitoring: Recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, external/internal fetal monitoring, IUPC placement and calibration.
IV Therapy: Administration of blood and blood products, starting and maintaining IVs.
Preferred – Documentation: Epic experience preferred.
Ratios: 1:2.
RTO: 7 days MAX
Float Requirement: Yes – Mother/Baby care. Specific locations and distances not provided.
Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend.
During times of increased census, typical ratios may be higher for teamwork. Contract staff will be equally assigned to the home unit staff to ensure patients are covered with an RN.
