Travel MS/Tele RN – $2,164/Week | Nights | Charlotte, NC.
Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at Novant Health Ballantyne Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Job Details:
  • Specialty: MS/Tele RN.

  • Facility: Novant Health Ballantyne Medical Center.
  • Start Date: December 7, 2026.
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks.
  • Schedule: Nights, 3x12s.
  • Shift: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM.
  • Hours: 36 hours/week.
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,164/week.
  • Employment Type: Travel Contract.
  • Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:6
  • Self-scheduling.
  • First-time travelers accepted.
  • No floating required.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience — HARD STOP.
  • MS/Tele experience required.
  • Epic experience required.
  • BLS required.
  • ACLS preferred.
  • Cardiac monitoring experience.
  • Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
  • IV therapy and peripheral line management.
  • Blood product administration.
  • Oxygen administration.
  • Non-invasive airway management.
  • Rapid Response/Code team experience.
  • Isolation precautions/PPE experience.
  • Must pass EKG testing prior to start.
  • NC or Compact RN license; pending license may be accepted for submission.

Unit Information.
The MS/Tele unit provides care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including pneumonia, sepsis, DKA, sickle cell disease, falls, generalized weakness, stroke, and stroke-like symptoms.
  • 36-bed unit.
  • Approximately 1:6 RN-to-patient ratio.
  • Every-third-weekend coverage.
  • At least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
  • Epic and Pyxis systems.
  • Navy blue scrubs.
  • 36 hours of unit orientation.

Scheduling / RTO:
  • Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved.
  • No RTO during the first week.
  • Must work 2 of 3 major holidays.
  • Additional RTO after booking is not permitted.
  • Block scheduling is not available.
