Travel PICU RN – $2,113/Week | Nights | Wilmington, NC.
Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced PICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Job Details:
- Specialty: PICU.
- Facility: Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
- Location: Wilmington, NC.
- Start Date: November 30, 2026.
- Contract Length: 13 weeks.
- Schedule: Nights, 3x12s.
- Shift: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM.
- Hours: 36 hours/week.
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,113/week.
- Employment Type: Travel Contract.
Requirements:
- Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years.
- Traveler Experience: REQUIRED.
- Work Settings: PICU experience required.
- Certs: BLS, PALS.
- Preferred – Certifications: ACLS.
- Preferred – Professional Skills: Infection control/PPE, vaccine administration, wound assessment/care.
- Preferred – Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
Assignment Details:
- Preferred – Gastrointestinal: Insulin administration, insulin pumps, management of gastric tubes, NG tube insertion/management.
- Preferred – Documentation: Epic experience preferred.
- Ratios: 1:2.
- Float Requirement: Yes.
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
- Trauma (MVC, GSW, near drowning).
- Documentation: Epic.
