Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry
Wilmington, NC
Competitive Weekly Pay:
  • 3×12 Assignments: Approximately $1,900/week
  • 4×12 Assignments: Approximately $2,750–$2,800/week

Compensation varies based on schedule, hours worked, experience, and applicable overtime.

Requirements:
  • Active RN License.
  • Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience.
  • BLS Required.
  • NIHSS Required.
  • ACLS Preferred.
  • Drug Test (Within 30 days).
  • TB Test (Within 6 months).
  • Experience interpreting telemetry and managing dysrhythmias.
  • IV therapy and PICC line management.
  • Blood product administration.
  • Wound care.
  • High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC).
  • BiPAP/CPAP.
  • Chest tube management.
  • Rapid Response/Code Team experience.
  • Experience with Epic and Pyxis preferred.

Patient Population:
You'll care for patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions, including:
  • Sepsis.
  • Congestive Heart Failure (CHF).
  • COPD.
  • Pneumonia.
  • Diabetes.
  • Renal Failure.
  • GI Bleeds.
  • Post-Surgical Recovery.
  • Dementia.
  • COVID.
  • Cellulitis.
  • Orthopedic Patients.

Assignment Details
  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:6
  • Every Other Weekend
  • No Call Requirement
  • Up to 7 requested days off accepted (subject to approval before assignment starts).
  • Participation in Storm/Hurricane Team when activated
  • Float Required. Traveler may be required to float to main campus, NHRMC 32 minutes away
