Travel Athletic Trainer - Sports Medicine @ Novant Health Performance Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine
Earn Approximately $1,260/week:
- 5x8 Assignments: Approximately $1,260/week.
- 13 weeks Contract.
- Day Shift Available.
Compensation varies based on schedule, hours worked, experience, and applicable overtime.

Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking experienced Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide clinical support in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic for travel assignments with one of North Carolina's leading healthcare systems.

Responsibilities:
- Room patients and prepare them for provider evaluation.
- Record vital signs.
- Review patient medications.
- Administer injections (after competency sign-off).
- Assist with bracing and DME fitting.
- Provide clinical support to orthopedic surgeons.
- Document patient care using Epic EMR.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Athletic Trainer experience.
- Previous travel experience preferred (strong candidates with the right background may still be considered).
- ATC Certification through the Board of Certification (BOC).
- North Carolina Athletic Trainer License (NCBATE).
- Current BLS Certification.
- TB Test (within 6 months).
- Drug Test (within 30 days).
- Experience with:
- Bracing & DME fitting.
- Recording vital signs.
- Rooming patients.
- Medication review.
- Administering injections.
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
Assignment Details:
- Outpatient Orthopedic Surgery Clinic.
- Approximately 20 patient visits per day.
- Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics.
- No call.
- No weekends.
- No floating.
- 12-hour clinic orientation.
- Navy blue scrubs preferred (not provided).
