Travel CVOR Tech – $2,450/Week | Days | Wilmington, NC
Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced CVOR Tech for a 13-week travel assignment at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Shift: 6:15 AM–4:45 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,450/week
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Call required
Floating required to Main OR and Vascular OR as needed

Travel experience required
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience.
  • Previous travel experience required.
  • BLS required.
  • NBSTSA certification required.
  • Trauma Level II experience required.
  • CVOR and Trauma experience required.
  • Cardiac and vascular surgery experience required.
  • Experience with adult through geriatric patients.
  • Must be comfortable scrubbing for all cases.
  • Aseptic technique.
  • Fire and laser safety.
  • Sharps safety.
  • Specimen handling and labeling.
  • Sterilization and disinfection.
  • Universal Protocol / Time Out procedures.
  • Epic experience preferred.
  • Cardiac and vascular experience should include procedures such as CABG, aortic aneurysm repair, mitral valve replacement, pericardial window, carotid endarterectomy, carotid angioplasty/stenting, femoral-popliteal bypass, aortobifemoral bypass, atherectomy, and other vascular procedures.

Unit Information:
  • The surgical services department supports multi-specialty inpatient, outpatient, and emergent procedures, including cardiovascular, vascular, trauma, general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology, ENT, OB/GYN, plastics, pediatrics, neonatal procedures, endoscopy, and organ harvesting.
  • 31 operating rooms.
  • 1:1 assignment ratio.
  • Epic and Pyxis systems.
  • Manager-determined scheduling.
  • Scrubs provided.
  • Call / Weekend Requirements.
  • Call approximately 2 days per week.
  • Every third weekend call.
  • Weekend coverage as needed.
  • Floating to Main OR and Vascular OR required.
