Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Stepdown / Cardiac Telemetry
Salisbury, NC.

Earn Approximately $2,052 per Week:
  • 3×12 Assignments: Approximately $2,050/week.
Compensation varies based on schedule, hours worked, experience, and applicable overtime.

Telemetry Registered Nurses for travel assignments with one of North Carolina's leading healthcare systems.

Assignment Highlights:
  • 13–26 Week Contracts.
  • Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15).

Requirements:
  • Active RN License.
  • Minimum 2 years recent Cardiac Stepdown or Telemetry experience.
  • BLS Certification.
  • ACLS Certification.
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
  • TB Test (within 6 months).
  • Drug Test (within 30 days).
  • IV Therapy.
  • Telemetry Interpretation.
  • Cardiac Drip Experience.
  • PCI and Pre/Post Cardiac Procedure Care.

Patient Population:
You'll care for patients with conditions such as:
  • Congestive Heart Failure (CHF).
  • Dysrhythmias.
  • Unstable Angina.
  • Chest Pain.
  • Stroke (CVA/TIA).
  • Pacemaker and ICD Implantation.
  • Cardiac Catheterization Recovery.
  • Peripheral Vascular Procedures.
  • Experience with cardiac medications including Cardizem, Dopamine, and Amiodarone drips is preferred.

Assignment Details:
  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5–6.
  • Every Other Weekend.
  • Call Required (Based on Census).
  • Float Required.
  • Fast-paced cardiac unit.
  • Epic / Pyxis experience preferred.
  • Telemetry experience required.
  • 36-hour orientation.

Additional Information:
  • Up to 7 requested days off accepted before assignment confirmation.
  • Additional time-off requests after booking cannot be accommodated.
  • Candidates must be comfortable working in a high-acuity cardiac environment with frequent admissions and discharges.
